US MARINES TREAT THE CHILDREN AT SHALOM

There was much excitement at Shalom on Christmas Eve, when four Marines from the United States Embassy in Harare arrived with a huge box of presents for the children. When instructed to open them right away the children dutifully obeyed, well they were US Marines so no-one was going to argue! and 30 minutes of delight ensued with the children both awed and overwhelmed at the beautiful presents that they were given. What a wonderful afternoon and one that certainly got everyone in the house plus Helen and the Marines in the mood for Christmas !
