2008 Prayer for Children at Risk                            

Lord Jesus,

Thank you that you love every child in the world, and that you died on the cross to give them the hope of eternal life.

Help us to follow your example, seeing the needs of the vulnerable and making a difference to their lives.

Please hear our prayers, bringing food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless and care for the sick. Provide families for the lonely and support for the prisoners.

Thank you that when we turn our hearts to the poor, we turn our hearts to you. Help us serve you today in our prayers.
